NBA YoungBoy‘s lawyer has worked some magic to retrieve a bedazzled chain for the rapper that was previously snatched up and held by police authorities.

Tanner Woods of MGKB Law took to Instagram on Tuesday (January 17) to reveal the glistening “NBA” chain was back in the rapper’s possession and he even hilariously rocked the burly ice for a picture.

“A rapper’s chain is not only a unique piece of art but it is also their logo and their brand as it is seen and admired by thousands in music videos and pictures,” he wrote. “Some people judge the amount rappers spend on their chains & jewelry.

“I say corporations spend millions on advertising, why can’t rappers? I am glad @mgkb_law could get this work of art back to its rightful owner. Looks much better on YB anyways!”

Tons of YoungBoy fans flooded the comment section calling for Woods to now retrieve the “Chopper City” video which the police seized in September 2020 when YB and 15 others were arrested on drug and weapons charges at the video shoot’s Baton Rouge location. “Chopper City” landed on YB’s 2020’s Until I Return project.

The Never Broke Again boss was also hit with federal weapons charges as a result of the 2020 arrest. NBA YoungBoy (real name Kentrell Gaulden) was reportedly carrying $47,000 in cash with him at the time.

Police searched vehicles on the video shoot’s premises and found about three grams of marijuana and one dose of Hydrocodone. Officers also recovered multiple weapons including an AK-47.

NBA YoungBoy has been on a tear with new music since he was found not guilty in his federal gun case back in July 2022. His ninth studio album, I Rest My Case, arrived on January 6, two weeks after he dropped off Lost Files, his eighth full-length release of 2022 and the follow-up to October 2022’s Ma’ I Got a Family.
